The animation shows how you can use the advanced search interface to search for a keyword and combine it with limiting the search to your own collection and a certain type of object.
Advanced search
You can use the advanced search both in the finder, when picking single objects, and when setting up dynamic searches. The advanced search interface lets you limit the search results to your own museum and to an object type. As shown in the animation above, applying a filter using the interface will add the filter as a syntax in the search field. In this example we limit the search term "flyfoto" to Østfoldmuseen's collection and to only search in the object type folder. We then pick four folder objects and set their size.
If you need to use other filters, please refer to the table below, and simply type them in the search field.
Syntax Description and Examples
You can use any of the below syntax the same way you do in DigitaltMuseum. You can also combine the syntax/filters. For instance use place:oslo time:1990-2000 to limit a search to objects with locationdata Oslo and timedata 1900 to 2000.
