Using the Editor

Editing owner pages as well as articles use the same editor and basic principles.

  • The editor is divided into two vertical sections. The left hand side consists of the building blocks whereas the right hand side shows a real time updated preview of the content you are creating.

Building Blocks and the Preview

The left side of the screen consists of the building blocks. The right hand side gives you a real time updated preview of what you are creating. You may click anywhere in the preview to open the corresponding building block on the left side.

Both the owner page editor and the article editor consist of separate sections. The owner pages are divided into the head/cover, the content and the footer. The articles are divided into a head/cover as well as the content. The head/cover and footer consist of predefined blocks which cannot be deleted or moved. You may, on the other hand, modify, move and delete blocks in the content section. Click the three dotted icon next to title of the section or block to expand the content and edit it.

Saving, Publishing, Unpublishing and Viewing Content

Click the "Save"-button in the top right corner to save your changes. This makes a draft version of your page/article. When you wish to publish, click the arrow and select "Save and Publish". If you wish to unpublish the content, click the button again and select "Save and Unpublish". The label next to the save button will indicate which status your page or article has; draft or published.

If you wish to delete your article, you must click the arrow next to the save button and select "Delete". You cannot delete your owner page. You may, however, unpublish your owner page. If you do so, your owner page will be reset to the state it was prior to using the editor.

To view your page or article, you must make sure it is published then click the "eye" icon next to the clock. It will open the page in a new tab.
